Burglaries:
Stokes Valley had a total of five burglaries for the month of July, with three being
committed at night, and two during daylight hours. Two of these burglaries were committed
whilst the occupants were at home.
One of these burglaries was to Tawhai Primary School where the office computer and
associated equipment was stolen, this occurred between 6.00 and 7.00pm on Friday 19th
July. Offenders smashed their way in and not only did they steal the computer but they
also trashed the office, As if our schools need this. Do you have any information about

The burglaries occurred at the following locations: Amundsden Grove (Day), Glen Road
(Night), Kopara Grove (Day), Morrison Grove (Night), Kairimu Street (Night).
Willful Damage:
More damage has occurred in and around the Scott Court area in the past month with windows
being smashed and door locks forced along with a large amount of unsightly tagging. Please
if you see these people doing this mindless offending ring the Police immediately.
One group of 15year old local youths is currently being looked at for the latest damage,
along with three outsiders from the Pomare area who were witnessed tagging a local shop
front during the day.
