Election Day in Stokes Valley

Pictured left Peter and Glenys Lockett of Stokes Valley voting at the Jean Mullins School of Dance. The Polling manager, Lloyd May said that the voter turn out there appeared to be high with over 700 votes cast by midday. He said that the training completed by his team, along with the new voting card system, meant things went very smoothly. Mr May estimated that around 90% of voters had used the new voting cards.
