The Stokes Valley Rotary Club is looking for families interested in hosting exchange students.

Rotary regularly has students from around the world stay for three or four month stints with local families. At least three families are needed to make the scheme work properly.

At a recent Stokes Valley Rotary meeting, families who have hosted exchange students spoke of their experiences.

• Students often became part of the family and some real closeness has been experienced,
• The students often invite the New Zealand hosting families over to their country to visit their families,
• The students often took the time to talk to the host family about what they wanted to do with their lives.
