Stokes Valley Library
June 2002

New Videos:

"Moulin Rouge"; "Tora! Tora! Tora!"; "Almost Famous" plus many more - $3.00 for a week. These new videos will attract 50 cents per day overdue fines. Most of the old $2 videos are now free to issue. I watched the Moulin Rouge one and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like musicals, it's a must see, but beware it is unusual.

ALL CHILDREN'S VIDEOS, CDs, CD-ROMs AND CASSETTES ARE FREE TO ISSUE.

Get-Well Bags!

Don't forget to ask for a get-well bag from the library if you have a sick child. In the bag we have puzzles, pencils, games our selection of books, videos and cassettes or CDs. There will also be some colouring-in and crafts for the child to keep. The bag and videos are issued for one week and the books for the normal three weeks. Often, because we choose the books for the child, they are introduced to new types of books. So take advantage of this service, as you require it, especially as the winter bugs hit families in the Valley.
