Ross Cook Pharmacy Voted Wellington's
Best!
Ross Cook Pharmacy was voted Wellington's best
pharmacy in the Breeze's "Best of Wellington Competition." Voting was done by
phone-ins and ended whith winners announced live on air on Thursday 4th April.
Ross says he is blown away with the win. "Wellington's a big place with a lot of

More N Ward Chairperson Drama
At the recent Northern Ward Committee meeting (held
Monday 29 April), Athol Greentree was initially voted as chairperson after last meeting's
shock resignation of chair Tata Parata. However, Mr Greentree then declined the job due to
the fact that it involves a heavy workload, with little in the way of compensation or
remuneration. A second vote was held and Fred Allen was then voted chair. Mr Allen
accepted the position.
Rimutaka Electorate Labour Party AGM
The Rimutaka Electorate Labour Party AGM was held
last night. Nicola Meek was elected Electorate Chairperson unopposed. Jannette Granville
was elected Secretary also unopposed. Both women were thanked by the meeting for the
excellent work they had done during the last year.
The Rimutaka Labour Party Electorate is hosting a meal at the Stokes Valley Chinese
Restaurant, with guest speaker John Tamihere on Monday 6th May at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $30
each, any one interested in attending should call Jannette on 528-2091.
